The franchising will continue until morale improves.
Then franchising will REALLY continue.
Thats rich, coming from Embracer Group. What’re they gonna do? Start development and then shut down the studio midway through?
oh boy, another shitty overproduction on the way…
The IP is gonna get juiced for all it’s worth eh.

I’m pretty okay with that. There’s been a lot of good stuff based on the book series.
And it’s not new. Even aside from the recent stuff that I’ve seen, WP says that there’s been radio shows, plays, audiobooks, video games I haven’t heard of, etc.

Pls just remaster Battle for Middle-Earth II and put it on sale on modern platforms with modern multiplayer. That’s literally all I want.
Easiest money on the table with that IP: remake the return of the king action RPG, keep co-op ofc.
I think you mean you want another battle royal.
Nah, that’s old news. They want an open world looter shooter.
If they can make game maps as big as just cause, Skyrim, Witcher, etc. they need to just get us a full middle Earth map open world. But they’ll probably make it online and it’ll suck
Please, somebody tell me, is this good or bad news?
I think it’s bad news, I just don’t see how it could be good.
We need a second Gollum game.
We’ve had first Gollum, yes, but what about second Gollum?
Gollum: Second Breakfast
I just saw news that someone is making a Gollim focused film. So… If it does well enough, we actually might see a second Gollum game. 🤢
That someone is Andy Serkis, oddly enough (the actor who played Gollum in Peter Jackson’s movies)
My favorite factoid about those movies is that Andy was the one who suggested that he act out the character physically, to CGI over him, and not just do the voice over from a booth.
