Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said that he is “horrified” by the Victory Plan outlined by Volodymyr Zelenskyy the day before and announced his intention to promote the idea of EU talks with Russia.

    I wonder if this fascist is anywhere near as horrified as the sea of humanity that has had to endure the horrors of an unprovoked war invasion.

    From the beginning, Orban has rooted for Russia because there’s a rump of “historic Hungary” that’s was long lost that they want back. His dream is Russian taking everything they want and Putin throwing him a few scraps. Pathetic.

    Is the victory plan available for public viewing yet? I’d love to read about how Ukraine is going to beat Russia and I’d like to know what my country can do to help.

      Nah it’s more derisive, the conservative block is wanting the traditional west to crumble so they can take over. Wilders Meloni, Fico etc want to carve Europe up.

      The infighting that will happen after they eventually do a they are all autocrats they do not think about.

      There is a link in the article that describes most of it. 3 of the items in the proposal are secret to be discussed with the EU and the US before being disclosed.

      The EU has always been prepared to negotiate with Russia why wouldn’t they. But Russia has indicated on multiple occasions that it has absolutely no interest in negotiation. Of course Russia has long gone past the point at which negotiations would end favorably for them, but that’s their fault.

      So this idiot is calling on the EU to do something that they were always prepared to do, and continue to be prepared to do. Meanwhile his chum is the one getting in the way.

    He says he wants to call on the German chancellor and the French president “on behalf of the entire European Union to start negotiations with the Russians as soon as possible so that we can find a way out of this situation”.

    They should just tell Orban that they can’t speak for Ukraine unless Ukraine is part of NATO.
