when I was in 3rd grade, I had a gifted test, where after I flawlessly cleared 11th grade math, it was decided that I may go to a math gifted school. if my single mom can afford it. she couldn’t. I proceeded to develop type 2 bipolar disorder in 6 years of getting bullied bcs my classmates found out my mom couldn’t afford it. any capacity my brain had to learn has gone completely and I struggle with learning anything at all. now I have to live my life knowing that I had a natural talent for absolute greatness that could benefit all but this society of empowering the strong, and keeping the weak down, has drained any and all of it. but hey, of course I’m the weird guy for saying our priorisation of money over the benefit of all is bad.
yeah i know, pretty anticlimactic.
i am considering adding large scale industrial sabotage at alphabet or blackrock as a forth item tho

at its peak (which lasted for months), covid killed more people daily than 9/11 did, and noone cared.
so the question is more about whether people blow up some highrise buildings that will cause chaos and despair.

how do i find a reason to love the nextcloud community more and more every single day?!?
they are selling it to countries which then sell it to europe so we just pay more for the same thing but can be happy we do definitely not fund the russian invasion :D :D :D

Vintage Story comes to mind.
It’s minecraft if it took itself serious and actually adds gameplay content with each update instead of unnecessarily drawing existing stuff out.
11 days 3 hours. i did write a script that suspends the pc to memory and rtcwake at a specified time, as basically my alarm clock. and during work, its suspended to disk. so, of those 11 days its been properly running for maybe 2 days.
ngl this looks very impressive ootb, however, i rely on dataview a lot, basically my entire work orga is done through various datasets integrated directly into my daily journaling. instead of having to keep track of every item i did/got for a project to calculate together at the end, i just throw everything into a dataview table and thats it. yes, there are apps more suited for this but obsidian just does everything i need more than just good enough. thanks for the rec tho, will keep an eye on it. (it’s now the 4th obsidian alternative im checking out regularily lmao)
I’d like to have an /asklemmy about how this question occupied your brain so much that you put in the effort to type it out.
I use Obsidian.md, which starts as a note-taking app, but can end up as a whole knowlegde base. It has a built in core plugin for daily notes, but the plugin ecosphere will allow you to go way beyond that. It is free, however the built-in syncing is a subscription. You can just set up and use any sync service you want, it even has approved plugins for that, as the subscription is basically just a donation.
There is an open-source alternative called logseq, available on fdroid, i dipped my toes into that one for a while, but the plugins on obsidian like dataview and templater are just invaluable.
