Google-owned video behemoth YouTube, facing increased competition from platforms that are friendlier to free speech including Rumble and Twitter, has dropped a policy responsible for the widespread censoring of conservative voices. It is now possible to dispute the results of the 2020 election on YouTube.
Maybe I’m thinking too far ahead on this, but I can’t help but think they need to do this because there’s a good chance the Democrats lose the 2024 election and there will be a lot of new election conspiracies from the Democrats, just like there were in 2000, 2004, and 2016 – every single time they lost. They need to remove this policy because otherwise they’d be banning leftists all over.
This is a very good point – they want to be allowed to talk about conspiracies whenever they want, but not the reverse.
