Trying to use Gerboa for Android for the first time, and so far I’ve been unable to login.

I entered “monero.house” for the instance, along with my username (hexachrome) and my password. However I get a toast message saying “Incorrect login” each time.

Any suggestions for me?

Solved: I’ve been using NextDNS on my phone, and one of the threat lists was blocking Monero.House. I whitelisted the domain and was then able to login.

Could your phones DNS/VPN/Anti-Virus perhaps block the domain? I couldnt add the instance to Gerboa either in the beginning but when I last tried it suddenly worked.

Solved: This was indeed the problem. I’ve been using NextDNS on my phone, and one of the threat lists was blocking Monero.House. I whitelisted the domain and was then able to login.

I attempted turning off my Wireguard VPN, disconnecting from my wifi and using the mobile network. All same result.

EDIT: Mobile Network with simply monero.house worked. Bizarre.

That is very weird. I might seriously have to look into changing the domain name but monero.house is so cool :,(

I just bought monero.town, together with a way better vps :) Let’s see if I manage to migrate everything without issues.

Pretty good name. It is a shame that people have to use careless DNS services that cannot maintain a proper block list.
