    Also, guns don’t kill, people do.

      It’s like handing a potential murderer a gun and blaming the 14 year if they get shot.

      Especially because it is now illegal to get an abortion… even in… these… cases.

      There’s the Republican mindset on full display. They don’t give a shit about crime victims, except as a sort of real-life MacGuffin to justify bringing the hammer of retribution down on the offender. They don’t want to stop crime, indeed, they need a steady stream of offenders, because the cruelty of punishment is the point. Depress wages and create more crimes to punish? A double-win for people like her.
