It is against the rules. If you trust a big company to *actually* give you privacy, shame on your for being fooled more times than anyone can count at this point.
Very much agree Steve is a godsend for topics like these but I don’t 100% agree with is “re-assessment” of this in the next podcast where he thinks it was a good idea to have in place if controlled by Apple.

If you get a Huawei phone at least the party that has a backdoor on your device literally doesn’t care what you do.
Steve’s breakdowns on stuff like this are great. Highly recommend a listen.
