It was probablly just a list of 20 humanities electives they had to pick 4 of for gen Ed requirements (not say9ng this is a bad thing maybe if there was more of this 1/4 of every engineering class wouldn’t go straight to Lockheed martin)

They’re supposed to be less rigorous and a little more general than other courses, this is really grasping at straws for a reason to ignore the point being made.

They’re super pretty fish that have really cool colors and a face that’s so dumb it’s cute.

One of the reasons I like Jeremy Wade (river monsters guy) was an early episode where he put a bunch of pirahnnas in a pool and stuck his feet in, then started walking around, then im pretty sure even put some blood in the water to disprove their “feeding frenzy” myth to show they were harmless.

They’ll try to attack you if they’re starving which is sonethingthey have in common with literally every other animal.

  • Feel the same way about restaurants that don’t have prices on their menu.

Basically assume “if you have to ask you can’t afford it” because if the price wasn’t an immediate deal breaker they wouldn’t be withholding it.

Same with job listing, of they don’t list the salary it’s because they know that stating the salary would make you less likely to apply.

  • Tools and sports equipment especially if it’s something niche.

People shit on harbor freight but if you need a new tool or something for a hobby it’s probably not something you’re going to use often if youve already soent any significant tiem doing that hobby.

Buy the cheapest version of it and of you use it enough to either break it or figure out what parts of the design you don’t like it’s a good sign spending a little extra on a better version isn’t a waste.

Especially getting into a new hobby avoiding the urge to buy expensive shit right at the beginning because you think it’ll make you better at the thing.

The ambiguous ones at least have some discussion around it. The ones I’ve seen thenxouple times I had the misfortune of seeing them on Facebook were just straight up basic order of operations questions. They weren’t ambiguous, they were about a 4th grade math level, and all thenpeople from my high-school that complain that school never taught them anything were completely failing to get it.

I’m talking like 4+1x2 and a bunch of people were saying it was 10.
