!avatar@lemmy.world for an ATLA community
Seems interesting, but where is the link?
Update as I know this comment is linked to from time to time: we discussed about this with Gabe on Matrix, he was okay to keep the community here. Proof of this: he appointed one of my alts as a moderator of the community, which he probably wouldn’t have done if he wasn’t approving our community being here.
For some reason I can’t pin the post, I’ll try again later
Good opportunity to jump ships and see how it is elsewhere!
Is there still a need now that version 19.X allow subscriptions export and import?
I’m taking a class, and I also have Spanish speaking friends, so that help!
Learning Spanish, by the way if anyone wants to join, we have a small Spanish speaking community in !esp@lemm.ee
I also try to post to !languagelearning@sopuli.xyz from time to time
Don’t you have all of that information from the comments above?
From what I remember the main issue here is technical.
At the end of the day, your account needs to be attached to a technical entity, even if it’s only an identity provider. You could imagine Lemmy instances that would only host accounts and not communities (some of them are already in this case, but more because of a lack of activity their from their own volition). For the reputation, you can indicate your alts on every of your accounts. Not the most elegant way, but there are areas where we are functioning with even more tweaks and work arounds (e.g. moderation)
I sent a message yesterday via Twitter, I’m not that hopeful she’ll get back. Tried via Tumblr too, no more success.
Can you please maybe edit your post to explain that actually Lemmy does this? Something like [Update: it does] or something
They are on feddit.ch so it’s all good. The Lemmy documentation should be hosted elsewhere, but it seems to be behind feature development, the latest ones are not explained: https://join-lemmy.org/docs/users/06-other-features.html
I guess I’ll make an announcement similar to the one about instance blocking yesterday.
Seems like a lot of people have been missing on those features.
What are some goals you all are working towards? What are your hobbies that make you feel fulfilled? What’s something that makes you look forward to the (near) future?
Feel free to ask this in your own post, it seems like an interesting topic!

Nice list!
One way to do this could be to have a GitHub repo where the list is hosted. That way if someone wants to update it, they create a pull request that can be accepted by the moderating team
