As a Canadian, I have the same question. Is this just the old "slam through an obviously unconstitutional law because it will take years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it undone and until then maybe we can keep pushing our clearly anti-American agenda? (note I’m using American to mean what they claim it to mean, like in the movies, not what it actually is, which is kinda… this.)

What will happen is private sector clinics/practices/ect will be able to pay more than public, because they can charge whatever they want, so all the talented nurses/doctors ect will vacate the public sector for private, leaving public understaffed and underfunded even more than it is now. Then some shit government will point at the anemic public system they let suffer and say “it doesn’t make sense to keep this thing alive” and take it out back and shoot it. Then we turn into the states.

The rich get better care (which they can already get with a quick plane ticket if they can’t wait) everyone else gets $300 cream.

It’s f-ing ridiculous that anyone believes for profit healthcare would (note I believe they COULD, they just are designed not to) provide better care than a unified public service that wasn’t being slowly chipped away to make room for profiteering.

Answering honestly: so that shitty people can like shitty things without the consequences. They can broadcast their views without having to answer for them, and down the line it’s easier to manipulate likes so Elon can sell likes or remove likes from anything he pleases, which allows twitter to create “public opinion” that won’t be in line with actual public opinion.

What type/brand of laser level? Most have magnetic brackets so if you have an outside corner in the room that has a metal drywall corner it will stick to that, or any peice of metal can be screwed to the wall and the level can be stuck to that. Your level may also come with a metal part of the bracket that you can screw to the wall and then stick the lazer to, and slide it up and down to get the right spot.

They seem happy. They have a new bed and breakfast there (like a real one, where they host people, not air bnb) and my mom mentions they post on Facebook all the birds and sunsets and stuff. Shrug

My Aunt said she’d leave if Trump was elected. Within the year she had sold her working farm and bed and breakfast and moved to Costa Rica with her husband.

Most people can’t afford to do that,or still have kids at home or whatever. And I honestly don’t like her or my uncle that much, but I was so proud of them that they did that. They had the resources, so they just did it.

Most people don’t have that freedom. But those who do should put their money where their mouth is.

What op should do is tap/slide the boards all to one end so the gaps all come together as one big gap at the less important side of the room. Maybe there’s a bookcase or tv against that wall so they don’t step there.
