I was more talking about “normal” herbal tea like lemon, camomille, mint… My go to when i’m sick is ginger/lemon herbal tea. I wasnt really talking about weird understudied herbs, that can be more of a problem than a solution for sure.

I agree for most things with some exceptions. For example, when you have a flu/cold taking some herbel tea, citrus and honey are good natural remedies that help manage symptoms.

It’s often better to do that than taking medication that suppress symptoms. Those symptoms (particularly fever when in acceptable levels) are your immune system working to kill the virus.

But in general replacing medication with natural alternatives is just a bad idea imo.

A lot of things could go there i guess haha, here’s some things I’m thinking of at this moment:

1. a dishwasher. I will never go back this is the best invention humans created since the wheel
2. AC. Same as above it changed my life
3. keybar. This is a nice tool to manage keys and some other tools in a swiss-army like format.
4. a good usb-c docking station. I need to jungle between multiple laptops for work, this really helped doing that.
5. Going full public transit, bike and carsharing (communauto). Less traffic, and between these options it’s rarely more difficult than a car. And muchhhh cheaper, with gas, maintenance, taxes and depreciation it’s a bit crazy how much you put towards a car. It really helps to live comfortably with my budget.

So I am a son of divorced parents that are now good friends. I do think they are models in term of how they managed their divorce, so i’ll share how it went from my point of view.

At first, they were not seeing each others as friends would. Not saying that they did not consider the other as a friend, but I think, like you said, it was beneficial for both to allow them to move on. They would still have discussions regularly about us, the kids. Whatever they did we were always the first concern and they always tried to be a team even if they were not “together”. I think that was the most important thing, for any important decision concerning us they would discuss together before and make sure they agreed on it.

After a while, they both entered new relationships and we started doing activities everyone together once in a while. Now my " 4 parents" are good friends, we went to trips together, we have dinners together…

I think taking a “pause” just after getting out of the relationship is a good idea, but not a hard pause, the children always come first and you need to still be able to work together for them.

Interesting, i might give it a try when i finish setting up my new servers, havent been satisfied with other picture solutions, usually feels like they’re doing too much haha. I just want simple and fast, so this might be it.
