That’s the most privileged moral compass imaginable.
Actual people in America have died because of Trump’s policies. Not just due to Covid, but because they were denied abortions, or because the people with guns knew the cops wouldn’t care if a transperson got killed.

22·7 hours agoCan’t say for sure, but Hillary is an old-school politician who tries to create consensus. Trump is a fire breather who thrives on controversy.
They doubt that Biden is willing to be a murderer, and hope that Trump will be.
When you risk your own life, you’ve got balls.
When you risk other people’s lives without their permission, you’re an asshole.
Or, people could look at the situation as it is.
Trump and his MAGoos are going to do everything they can to take as many rights away from people as they can.
In the real world of 2024, the only option is Joe Biden.
There’s no magical super candidate that’s going to pop up between now and November.
With the latest Supreme Court decision, re-elected President Trump could deputize 5 million of his followers on Inauguration Day.
You don’t have to love Joe Biden, or even like him. Just realize that Trump is for full on fascist takeover of the US and Biden isn’t.
Keep at it. You learn by doing something; making a mistake; then doing it again a little better.
The only way to change the conditions of the test is to get out and support Left-leaning Dems in primaries.
And no, not all choices are valid. Voting doesn’t just affect the voter, it affects the whole country.

The issue is that the IRS is underfunded because big GOP contributors don’t want to have to go toe to toe with an agency that can make them pay taxes.
That’s why Trump got a surge of money after his New York City trial lose; rich folks hate the idea that the law might be used against them.

I saw that one after I saw the 2016 version with Elijah Wood.
So the older version was ‘new’ to me.
