  • His policy and legislative agenda have basically stalled after the house turned republican in the midterms

Not just stalled, it’s completely dead. The House GOP is clearly not gonna pass anything if it gives Biden even the slightest of wins.

His proposed immigration plan is basically what the republicans have wanted (Increased security, border wall. closing the border. being assholes). he’s basically handed them everything they’ve been demanding, short of shooting asylum seekers on sight.

And it still didn’t pass the GOP-controlled House. Tells you a lot about what his options are for legislation right now, doesn’t it?

I’ll be happy to entertain the conversation of him dropping out, but only if the Progressive Caucus can tell us who they’re voting for instead. Since they seem to have no one and have essentially started endorsing Biden, I really don’t understand who people expect to run in his place. The primary has already started. Votes are already being cast. It’s too late friend. We’re barreling towards a “lesser of 2 evils” election because that’s what the base voters of both parties want. I can’t make that sound exciting. All I can tell you is to vote in spite of that, because there’s always other things on the ballot that are worth your time as well.

  • What immigration policy are you referring to? What does “flak harder on important policies” mean? The primary is already well underway and he’s winning by huge margins so why on earth would he drop out?

I completely sympathize that there isn’t anything nearly as exciting about voting for Biden when compared to folks like Bernie and Obama who actually inspired people. However, this election isn’t going to be one of those. Both parties are going all in on the “vote for us to save America” schtick alongside their usual party platform. Wish I had a better way to frame it, but this is definitely one of those “lesser of 2 evils” elections. All I can really say is that you gotta get used to it. It’s rare that you get to vote for exactly what you want (I’m still waiting for Elizabeth Warren to be the nominee, and I’m probably gonna have to let that one go unless there’s a huge shift in the party towards her).

A lot can happen in the next 8 months but I don’t think this war is gonna be one of those things. Even after Bibi’s raid/invasion on Rafah it’s not like this is gonna magically end.
