Of course not. There’s a huge difference between the money he’s getting now, and what he will get out there. £35m is the rumoured amount and depending on what he does with it, that could really make a difference, and honestly, I’m optimistic that enough queer friendly people in an area might make a difference.
On one hand as a queer woman, I’m disappointed by someone who showed so much support for the community eagerly accepting this tainted money.
On the other, I’d sell my soul for the right money, so I can’t criticise him too heavily.
This entire comment is the perfect explanation for my issue with people getting excited over Black Friday/Prime Day. I see so many people every year excitedly saying (or at times bragging), oh I got this, I got that, and it was so cheap. But unless you were already looking at that thing you haven’t saved money. You’ve actually spent more than you would have if it wasn’t on sale.
Surely they can’t legally hide allergens?
