This is a clear example, as i also see myself not very confident on the economic ability of my government, thankfully i am slowly storing more XMR, eventually i want to buy everything online only using Monero before shit hits the fan, fiat only for physical stores.

Node operators that do not want to store bloated jpges on their computer will update quickly, the more mOrdinals grows, the bigger the incentive to update to the latest Monero software.

Yeah, i think tx_extra is fine, many people can do useful stuff with it on the future, i am more on favor of limiting the size, to like 2 KB.
