Not absurd at all imo. The “tankies” were always right, whatever that word even means these days.
It’s kinda like “woke” but used against leftists instead of socially progressive liberals (and leftists) to shut down discussion.

What changed my mind were the tankies on hexbear
Same lol. The recent escalation in Palestine in October prompted me to take a look at lemmygrad and hexbear with an open mind, seeing as how they seemed to be the only ones not chastising Hamas or the Palestinian resistance groups for attacking “israel” and got defederated by .world for it.
Second Thought and Hakim’s videos on the USSR in particular finally made me realize just how much anti-communist propaganda I’d been fed.
Well that’s one less nationalist
I sure hope that boot tastes good
If the country had an actually decent head of state I doubt many would be mad at this.
Of course, then there wouldn’t be a waiting time for people to get mad at in the first place.
US elections + an ongoing genocide that same country is funding tends to do that.
No no, you see, South Africa and the ICJ are actually the legal arm of Hamas (actual thing Israel has claimed)
We are all Hamas on this blessed day
Man sh.itjust.works needs some better moderation
A symptom of rising tensions around the world in recent months, and this platform already being a political space.
Seeing libs both-siding a genocide and colonialism in the present day honestly makes it much easier to understand how slavery was so prevalent for so long.
Decolonization is violent; if you don’t like it, don’t colonize in the first place.
Radio free asia lmao
People’s views on NK and how it got there are a surprisingly good indicator of their views on Palestine.
They somehow managed to anger both the communists and the libs lol, all while being hostile to conservatives (which is based of course).
That’s not exactly a sustainable platform; you just get an echo chamber parroting already majority opinions even when they’re wrong, and not many people like that.
The amount of zionists in this thread is staggering. Apparently fighting back against oppressors is a bad thing.
I think they were implying the opposite
catbox.moe is great and embeds into Lemmy, unlike redgifs
