Lemmy is a rather small community by comparrison. I’m bound to run into you frequently.
-
I don’t care what you do. It has no impact on me.

If it truly bothered you, you would block me. It’s ridiculously easy.

You are both Jewish (as far as I know), but that isn’t your ethnicity.
There are plenty of reasons to shit on your mortal enemy, Elon Musk, but you do not need to make up stuff against him. Call a spade a spade.
You’re wasting your time, Best Friend.
Jews can be white. Being jewish is a religion. His comment (or the one he supported) is targeted at that religious group. No statement of hatred towards a skin color, specifically. This is potentially antisemitic, perhaps bigotry, but not racist.
Any other examples? Elon is a douche, but not every douche is a racist.
Ok. I’ll bite. Tell me all the “overt racist” things this billionaire has done.
Haven’t been on Lemmy in a week. Come back, and the top thread on All is about Musk. I’ll never understand the obsession with this cat. His haters appear far more obsessed with him then those who worship him.
And when they are sued for it, if they haven’t been already, it’ll never hold up in court. Regardless of the state in question. Fortunately.
Yes! Trillian was awesome! I used it fairly religiously from the early to mid 00s. Combined my ICQ, Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, and AIM. I miss that beautiful, convenient piece of software.
You tell’em, Best Friend.
Exactly. You’re not supposed to mention what they “identify” as. Or any other gender nonsense. Unless it is the focal point of the story to be told, then don’t mention it. That’s how you normalize something. By not drawing attention to it.
My favorite example is a character on Agents of Shield. He was a scientist that had a drinking problem. We knew about it from the start but didn’t find out why until later in the season. Years prior, he was drinking and driving while his husband was in the passenger seat. Got into a wreck, and his husband died. It wasn’t until that moment that we knew he was gay. Why? Because it was irrelevant. Spoiler alert, no one cared. He was a well written character, who was easy to sympathize with, who coincidentally happened to be gay.
I didn’t realize until my late teens (mid-00s) where the term came from. Still call them that to this day. Never cared to find out if they have a proper term.
SLAMS
“Nazi” website lol. Ok buddy.
Twitter has a pretty solid metal (music) community that I’ve come to know and appreciate over time. We share new bands, our opinions on albums, all that good stuff.
Not everything has to be related to politics. People aren’t “suspicious” because they don’t share all your views.
Given this choice, I’m confident Lemmy will double down, every time.
Just curious, why were wanting to replace Mullvad?
So what you’re saying is, Canada wants some of that internet money?
Non-leftist here. Hey. How ya doin’?
I purchase the family plan of YouTube Music. In addition to the music, it comes with ad free YouTube videos. I watch a lot of yt so it’s a no brainer for me. Never used any other streaming service so I can’t compare.
This is becoming a circular conversation. It’s your religion. Stating otherwise doesn’t change anything. Enjoy your week.
