This particular law is not meant to discourage piracy. But actually, for an authoritarian state, it’s better if everyone is both breaking the law and if they can easily track those people doing so. That means they can simply arrest anyone under the pretense of legitimate law enforcement.
Reno 911 actually took a big swing and the episodes had different content/views if you rotated your phone. I think that’s about all.
Film grain isn’t inherently good, but if the source has imperfections (a poor transfer, a blurry scene, etc), the grain creates a random discontinuity pattern for each frame that helps the brain unconsciously imagine fine details.
Looks like it’s source only, no compiled releases. So I guess you have to compile it yourself.
