Some nerd that likes open-source
Gotta love piracy. Better service and early releases
Lol
Glad ALVR worked for you on Wayland. It never did for me but it’s been a while. All Linux needs next is support from Adobe and AutoCAD and it’ll be 100% for most people
No clearly not but we’re talked about the latest console from Microsoft. Not saying it’s insanely powerful but it sure as shit ain’t weak or outdated hardware
I still haven’t bought one yet, I want to so bad tho
I completely understand it. Publishers want pretty graphics at all cost and give 0 time for developers to optimize it
Hopefully longer
A few movies on the drive and I’ll take a nap to waste some time
The deck is probably going to get more support for longer even though it’s slightly weaker. Even after valve stops supporting it down the road there are already a bunch of Linux distros for the deck
Damn that’s a shame, I truly find lemmy so much better then reddit now. I wonder if people just don’t know about it
People still use reddit?
Saying it’s “state of the art” isn’t an excuse for poor optimization. Developers have been able to pump out 60fps on way worse hardware and still make it look good. We have more powerful hardware now but worse software. In the past 8 years alone new optimization techniques have been found but no one uses them
What anime this from?
I eventually switched to fedora after using linux for a while and I love it
just say you tried to join. You’re whitelisted now
My friend and I have been talking about setting up a modded one soon
Sure I’ll whitelist you
My friends and I try to play every Monday at least but we usually on most of the week
I think a stable 30 is reasonable but I agree that 20-40 is not enjoyable. Honestly even a stable 20fps feels better then highs to lows
