It wasn’t Bill & Ted but actually Ms. Swift that might unite and save the future. What a timeline.

Yes, but mainly because Valve doesn’t want to deal with Nintendo’s lawyers since it used their libraries.
Then perhaps they shouldn’t have accepted it and striked as planned? The fact that it wasn’t “enough” for the workers isn’t on the POTUS and doesn’t negate his actions.
Exactly what I did!
Used it last week on a trip to the PNW, still works. I didn’t know the area code locally but asked the checkout guy, popped in Jenny’s number as the rest and boom.
Oddly enough, one of the old BB forums from just after the Something Awful days is one of the few places I went back to when Reddit started dying. Sure enough, thousands of folks had never left and the “bump a post” system is still working beautifully on ancient forum software with a few new additions (embedded media handling, etc).
Kudos to those folks who never left, they had the right idea and I was so glad to be accepted back into the fold.
Appreciate the follow-up, I didn’t see it initially
Frankly, I can’t believe how many different posts I’ve seen about that article today. Amazing.
Bless you for trying.
You’d be surprised to realize what a pain in the ass it is to host a good deal of videos. There’s more lost content (shows, movies and commercials) combined than archived data that exists today. Media was simply not kept and storage written over. Sadly, we’re going to keep losing it.
That’s the one! Thanks for the link.
Yep. I’d long quit the game when they finally figured it out.
Remember that time a random player DRAMATICALLY decreased load times for GTA online after finding bad code that preloaded TONS of game assets? After like, a decade?
Pepperidge Farm remembers…
That sounds a bit more logical.
That can’t be accurate otherwise it’d be incredibly easy to have maliciously taken down “the Fediverse” long ago. There might not be a direct Fedi distinction in the law and it might be too complex for the average district attorney to understand on the surface but that doesn’t equate to “everyone is breaking the law” if something illegal shows up on a feed.
This is the way. I never realized how much better Reddit would have been if it had a Top 6 Hour choice until I got one with Lemmy.
That second one is incredibly handy for those of us waiting until the API is shut off just in case. Kudos!
You clearly don’t know your history.
Appreciate the edits
