Chinese cars built with LiDAR are supposedly damaging cameras on road networks, and those lasers are extremely low powered compared to, say, a laser pointer.

I’m so used to everything we do being another stride into a dystopian hellscape that it took me a moment to realise that this wasn’t (in any immediately obvious way) the government helping the fuel industry. This treaty is absolute nonsense, and should never have been ratified in the first place, so this is actually good news, unless they’ve somehow thought of something worse to replace it with
No worries, there’s going to be a wealth of stuff I have to request myself with, it’s just another thing on the list. Thanks for pointing it out!
Nice one. It’s been a hot minute (or a warm couple of decades at least) since I’ve used Linux, but I had a play a short while back, and remembered more than I expected, so I’m going to turn an old Mac mini that I have spare into a media server
So it’ll go into suspension if I don’t deal with that at install, and I can’t turn it off later easily? That’s a dick, thanks for the warning
Can you recommend a distro for being a media server? I too have been complacent about my media habits, and the time has come to sort it out.
Salty popcorn
Why did Italy ban lab-grown meat from Arizona in the first place?
Clearly not an Australian, I’ve heard that said on the radio in the afternoon
Can’t be diluting’ them pure genes if you only fuck family members
Behold, the master race! In all their glorious, unmisogynated genetic purity
Came here to say pretty much exactly that! Great minds etc
Andrew Huberman is a neurologist who covers this in depth, with citations and references, if you’re actually interested. It’s pretty well established
That has no right to be that good
Wait, are we supposed to think of influencers as humans?
I’ve never had any problem with Mullvad reconnecting after I’ve run out and paid up again, that has worked seamlessly on mine
Arctic prison, not gulag, honest
I’ve got planes and a chisel from late 1800s, some of the best tools I own. The steel of the blades is fantastic, and the feel of the handles after more than 100 years of being handled is fairly unique
Mine is a Casio I’ve had for about 30 years, I’m pretty sure it’s mine by now
The drone idea is pretty smart, could just have it trying really hard to locate any objects near it, and happen to fly it past every camera in your area
