People will still clamor for it. I don’t think it will ever come close to matching the magic of the previous titles. What made those great was that we didn’t have anything remotely close and it was always on the cusp of something groundbreaking. No one was expecting skyrim, it had a short advertisement cycle - people got hyped - and then it dropped and opened people’s minds up to what a modern RPG should resemble.
The formula is old and beaten into the ground for how Bethesda games work. They need STRONG writing and world building along with breaking from their typical structure of designing the game.
People are expecting Skryim 2.0 in where it completely blows you out of the water and I don’t think we’ll get that. Personally I think we’ll get a graphically polished game, with great writing and music, and sub par execution of basically everything else. Let’s hope I’m wrong on that last bit.
The finer things in life
Can’t wait to have to buy an NPU as well as my CPU and GPU.
I’m over here in the corner enjoying the metal gear collection on my PS3
Right there with you. I got a good giggle out of this.
I read that in his voice. You’re doing the lords work posting memes.
Can confirm. Those guys were awesome.
I guess where the combat is where they differ the most. On the campaign map, they are pretty similar.
Edit: not saying they’re copies as they do have stark differences in how they play but they generally give the same vibe
Really good game and the expansions really help with the world. I put a lot of hours into this game, but Total War:Warhammer blows this out of the water.
AROOOM BABAH DOOM BABADEDAH
May I introduce Cleo and Sebastion! Sebastion is very talkative and shows lots of love, but from a distance. Cleo is a sweetie and will come and lay on my chest at night, and also find anything to make noise with in the morning, so I’ll wake up and feed them. They generally love each other and never fight, but sebastion can go into what I call Crack head mode, and anything goes then.
I also just re-played through this, mgs1 is a fantastic game for so many reasons. It brought me back to when games were meant to be fun and not a grind fest.
I would also like to say maybe take the downtime you have now and play through the VR missions for 2, they add a lot in when it comes to functions of sneaking and playing those will really make you aware of the tools at your disposal, that’s currently what I’m doing when I feel like it.
Oh, for sure. I’ve been wanting to build something custom to have all of my consoles setup in, plugged in, and ready to go and this gave me some idea as how to lay it out.
Looks like an awesome game collection even though I can’t see what the titles are.
I think I might have gotten this one from somewhere on the site that shall not be named, but its been so long I really don’t even know.
I drive 20 minutes out of my way to shop at aldi rather than win-dixie (which they’ve bought recently) down the street for my monthly large shopping.
Fuck, it looks like I’m finally going to have to buy the Samurai Jack game.
I played the ever living hell out of Gen 1 and 2 and I can confindently say Gen 2 was a fucking masterpiece. I’ll never forget swimming from Johto to Kanto and the feeling that gave me. Also, Gen 3 was reaaaaaaaaaaaaally good.
Yea this looks awesome
