It honestly wasn’t bad, and I certainly don’t see it as condemning Chappell. Honestly it’s saying it’s ridiculous to expect her to endorse a candidate or to be in the public eye 24/7. It’s very straightforward.

The intro scene on mushroom planet was great

You have to do it many times to weigh the average
Trailers get posted around, and I saw the trailer for this before Inside Out 2. Plus I saw a poster at the theater.
Anecdotal, but I’ve found that it has spectacular adblock capability. uBlock Origin + the browser’s native adblocking mean I never even see a specter of an advertisement, especially now that YouTube is going hog wild. Great browser, very customizable, low resource use.
Maybe it was just family physically in the room? You could monitor the air composition with a video feed from elsewhere, even just a room over.
EDIT: Ok just read through the article:
“the death took place in the open air under a canopy of trees in a private forest retreat near the German border with the association’s co-president, Dr. Florian Willet, the sole person present.”
So he wasn’t present or nearby, but someone else from the company was.
Also this bit sticks out to me (emphasis mine):
“On displaying cogency and an understanding of the stakes, it becomes possible push the button to activate the process, which cannot then be aborted.”
I wonder if this is a legal sticking point? If someone presses it and immediately has second thoughts, shouldn’t they have the freedom to open it and cancel the process?
Todd Howard wants to know your location
People will often only hear slang in this context and have no idea it relates back to sex at all. This comic is very true to life. I was definitely the kid that used terms without knowing their true meaning.
Also the character in the comic may well be under 12
It costs money to host things
If this meme were a meme I’d be that guy taking the bong rip
He’s a nut! He’s crazy in the coconut!
Humanity has limitless stories to tell, and a lifetime of stories to experience already. There’s a lot I want to hear about~
Sure, but for every story about a selkie that wants to drag you underwater and drown you, there are several more about gnomes that want to hide your shoes or fairy people that would trap you in a 100-year party.
At the same time, old folk tales portray these creatures as wild and powerful. Generally not malevolent (certainly not godly), but not something you should mess with.
But I agree it’s the new spooky supernatural go-to. Goblincore is the new zeitgeist and I’m here for it!
Or at any rate, a system more open to this kind of thing. GURPS or OpenD6 are much more narrative and rules light.
Yeah when a player wants to do something stronger than the ability they have when that does exist in the rules, the DM needs to be wary of it. It’s like saying "I cast Fire Bolt, but instead of hitting one target, it explodes in a 20-foot radius. Like, no you have to use Fireball to do that.
I mean yeah. If the writers wanted to make Wakanda have white people, that would be fine.
Also a great slogan for D&D groups
