I imagine it should be prioritized though, along with some of the other malicious upload issue mitigation bugs.
My boomer mom is all up in her suburban town councils business because she’s afraid there is going to be a “marijuana shop” that goes in across the highway from her neighborhood in the strip mall that’s being developed.
Anti-drug propaganda really did a number on that generation
Sigh… You’re free to go sir. Have a nice evening Mr sovereign user.
Agreed on all counts. Williams and rodman were both awesome, I thought. Bummer about Rapinoe, especially as her last WC. I think there is a lot of soul searching to do now to avoid this in the future.
My gripe was that rapinoe had control issues on all her service attempts thus far in the game. She was clearly off and frustrated and didn’t think she should have been put out there. Didn’t like any of the tactical calls made, but maybe that’s just me.
Yeah, completely killing Reddit was never in the cards in all honesty. Creating legit competition is good for everyone and this is definitely an awesome place already.
Probably would work to seed small communities with subreddit data, but…the maxim of “the real LPT is always in the comments” holds true (i.e. posts without comments is not what these places are about) and until users come and interact, this isn’t a substitute for being a real community.
Def a decent idea to jumpstart communities, as long as people aren’t too put off by the post data coming from reddit.
lemmy.ml’s server is undersized and has been having trouble with the growth. They apparently can’t upgrade their instance on the tier that they are on without an extended outage, so they’re kind of stuck. (at least that’s what I heard). I still have been able to see their content, but I haven’t been able to join communitites and whatnot.
Give it a few days and I’m guessing the communities on lemmy.ml will be back to being usable or the community will naturally migrate to a different instance.
It’s smart. Also, developers have a solid benchmark to set their games to. Console has long had the benefit of a stable hardware set over the course of many years, which makes it easier to develop to the broadest possible market. Skipping incremental APU updates has a benefit of keeping a longer benchmark for game developers hoping to boost sales by targeting the market with handhelds. Valve was pretty clear in their communication in this regard, which is great.
