why are you booing him he’s right

it’s more about being liable. The theatre is essentially a construction site with a lot of blind drops, even if the weed didn’t actually impair you, would you be liable if an accident (that potentially could’ve happened anyway) occurs while you were high?

crazy how they had fireworks and let him be nude at the trial
Hideo Kojima did it
yeah the issue with “discovered” is cultural interpretation, not factual. If you assume that indigenous people don’t count, or if non-aristocrats going there doesn’t count as discovery, or if it was discovered by Asian peoples but not yet by Western peoples…
I dunno if a fact-checking website can get into it as it is figuratively and literally critical race theory (ooOOOOooOOOoh!) to have that discussion.
Jacob Collier ahh piano
the rest of us threw them in the trash, and it was the same result.
it’s not just facts. If Trump suddenly only said things that were true between now and polling day - but didnt change any of his policy positions- would you vote for him?
It also may not “fix this bullshit” other than not having Trump, but that’s still worth it a hundred fold.
I suspect this of a famous video game communications app that rhymes with Piss-Poured.
They’ve been advertising a job that I would love and be very good at for months now, I’ve applied three times every time they take down the ad and put it back up.
I even built them an interactive portfolio of my work that looks exactly like one of their servers, with brand colors and everything 🥲
the company who just appointed the guy who ruined Google search as their CEO might be shady, say it isn’t so!
Risk, yes, but we know now that no one was hurt. It’s very different when you know what the consequences are.
Agreed in principle but it’s been nigh on 20 years and we’re yet to find someone that was killed as an upshot of the leak.
If you have information to the contrary I’d be keen to hear it.
Yes but you’re saying “it’s a big crime because the people who stand to benefit from it being a big crime say it’s a big crime.”
While I’m not saying all and any espionage/treason is good, I’m asking why one would think these memoranda are worth more than human life?
Were they? Would the world be better off with Assange dead?
it was a deliberate understatement for comic effect.
Still, though, 12 years is only considered proportionate because the the government sets the law and the government was embarrassed.
Its not a complete defence of Assange, his behaviors, his sketchy connections to Russia - but it is me saying that whistle-blowers are disproportionately punished not because it’s in the public interest
12 years in prison is more than you get for killing a child while drunk driving
The man embarrassed the US by leaking their DMs.
imagine the poor person who does this for you losing their job to ai 😔
capucin- prefix comes from the Latin for “hood,” and by synecdoche means “monks” (who wear hoods)
Cafe Cappuccino has the same roots.
paragraph 4 in the article states how they corrected for this.
