@EmperorHenry do… Do you think you’re somehow immune to this today? People who piss off the powers that be today are silenced pretty effectively. Nobody needs any digital ID infrastructure to do that.

@Tosti have you ever tried unionizing a workplace? Turns out it’s actually pretty hard, especially when people know it’s a million times safer to just go get a new job than get fired for union activism

@drphungky actually, I journalists ARE supposed to disclose their personal biases. It feels much worse to me when media personalities pretend to be objective. They aren’t. I think the idea that we should discourage the disclosure if personal opinion is actually really bad for media literacy
