I may have been too autistic for this. I don’t think I had any understanding of what masculine/feminine even meant until my mid 20s.

How would you interpret it if you’re neutral towards the idea? Like, it would be an inconvenience to have to learn how to handle new bits, but otherwise, life just goes on as usual.
Yeah, the privatization is the issue. The state should be directly paying for maintenance of the facilities so there’s no incentive to have more prisoners. Profit shouldn’t be part of the equation at all.
It would be good to have a place to discuss the merits of different systems. If you want to make a change, the bulk of your efforts are going to be in breaking out of the FPTP system, and that doesn’t change regardless of which voting system you support.
It can be either or neither. Context dependent. Although I’m having a hard time coming up with a scenario where being “cool” is affected by drug consumption in any way.
The French understood this. That’s why they call it “pain”.
Spotify lyrics are synced. You also click any text in the lyrics and it’ll jump to that part of the song.
Is this meant for a particular country, or just RCV discussion in general?
Just a guess, but I think if your eyes try to focus on something and it improves the image clarity (e.g. using glasses that don’t fit your eyes), then it’ll keep trying and end up causing problems. If attempts at focusing have no effect (e.g. looking at blurry images), then it’ll stop trying and your eyes can properly relax.
You mean, a vending machine?
Ah shit, the Oral-B one? It’s the only floss that I can get between my teeth. :(
Naw man, gotta keep you poor and debt ridden. Otherwise, who’s going to buy their get rich quick course?
It doesn’t matter if they actually absorb water or not. Just try the mushrooms side by side, washed and unwashed. Decide based on what you prefer.
I’ve never had a problem with this, raw or cooked. The insides of my washed mushrooms are always dry.
But just not as much from some types as others
Yeah, and that’s exactly what we’re talking about in the context of protein completeness.
If you are already regulating what you eat and praying a lot of attention to the nutritional value or the calorie count […]
The context of this comment chain is bodybuilding, so it applies for the majority of this population. But you’re right that for the general population, you don’t need to concern yourself with any of this as long as you have a varied diet. I’d still encourage everyone to have lots of rice and beans though because that shit’s delicious.
Ah, I see. Though I would call this manipulative, not dishonest.
entities that seems honest are the most secretly dishonest
It’s the converse. By definition, dishonest entities (that are good at what they do) will appear honest.
Definitions aside, let’s go back to my original argument. To rephrase it a bit: A transparently manipulative entity is better than a deceptive and manipulative entity. So why protest the added transparency and not the manipulation?
I think I’m missing an important part of your argument here. What are they doing that you consider to be dishonest?
IIRC, his point was just that it doesn’t have to be in one meal. Your diet as a whole still needs all the amino acids.
Legumes tend to be very filling for the amount of protein they provide, plus having to complement them with grains to make a complete protein greatly increases the Calories to protein ratio. Rice and beans do make for a great cheat meal when you can fit it in though.
