Trump’s only thoughts are “surely this can’t be fair, there’s gotta be something we can do to come to a better agreement” and he’ll continue to be flabbergasted by any other result because he’s never had to deal with real consequences in his life.

Except they didn’t fix the root of the problem, they just kicked the can down the road and made big banks even bigger. Some bigger than the Treasury itself. They set up a bigger ticking time bomb for someone else to worry about when they’re gone.

No, I wouldn’t. That’s why they won’t price it at $20. They’re gonna have to figure something else out or just have a complete negative loss in the state. You can try to price gouge people but they’ll likely just go somewhere else. This is some bs thinking through and through
I appreciate the concern and know about the potential negative consequences. But with all due respect, you don’t know me or the type of news I seek out or how I feel about it. I prefer to know what’s going on around me and the world so I can work towards making impactful changes. That doesn’t mean everyone else has to but it works well for me.
That’s may be true for you, but a lot of these type sites are a great source for news and information about the world. Ignorance is bliss as they say, but the world keeps spinning whether or not you pay attention to it. I’m not saying you HAVE to get news from social media, but that’s what I primarily use it for.
And those owners can almost always find a compassionate ear from their loyal rich CEOs who don’t want to upset a however many years relationship of “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine” kinda thing.
