This reads like a copypasta
I’ve heard list-making can be bad because you get a sense of accomplishment just for putting the list together, and not actually doing anything on the list.
For me it’s always, “this is hacky as shit, but it works, and nobody will ever see it but me.”
There are a lot of children on it these days too.
This is why I have a serious account and a meme account. I don’t have to see the news all day if I don’t want to.

Just pile up some old pizza boxes for a stand.
I’ve had VLC struggle with high-res videos from my phone, particularly if I’m seeking and replaying a bit.
edit: It may have also been high frame rate.
I can’t even remember the instructions I just read. I’ll never remember to take a picture of them.
Whaddya starin’ at ma gut fer?
For those who don’t get it, it’s the “stop doing science” meme.
I think it’s less, “We’re worried people will flock to Firefox,” and more, “We could get in a lot of legal trouble for trying to force everyone onto Chrome”.
I’ve used multiple different distros before and after, all Xorg, and never encountered similar problems. There were bugzilla reports for the Firefox issue I had, all of them attributing it to Wayland.
I used KDE with Wayland briefly a few months ago. The right-click menu would look very glitchy. Items disappeared until hovered over, and then disappeared again when moving the mouse. Firefox also had some issue where it would only take half the screen.
I’ve used this app for months and this is the first political ad I’ve seen. I avoid google as much as reasonably possible, and I don’t really search news or political topics often. I get almost all my news from here, Reuters, or AP News. The only thing in this ad relevant to me is that it’s Canadian.
I used Sync for about 10 years on Reddit. I really like the UI/UX, and I’ve grown accustomed to it. I’ve tried Jerboa, but it feels clunky and is missing features. I do like to support FOSS projects, but it’s not like Sync is some big business. It’s one guy who’s built up a pretty good app, and he’s generally well trusted in the community.
This is exactly the right place. End users don’t deal with the ad company, the dev does. If you want them to change their ads, they need pushback from the devs using their service. The only way to get pushback from the devs using their service is if the users complain to the devs.
18 year olds still use 4chan in 2023!? Why?
That’s an average of 1 screenshot every 14 minutes, or 102 screenshots a day.
