No, but I also don’t want to only have 2GB XD

Can you even run Windows with just 2gb?
The great thing about Linux is that there are options for everyone.
Want an OS with a full desktop installed? We got you.
Want an OS with almost nothing installed where you can make every single decision? We got you.
Want to build the OS entirely from scratch? We got you.
There’s an option for everyone and that’s cool. Don’t be mad about having a choice.
You may find it laughable but it is what it is. Most people does not enjoy signing up for specific product forums. It’s much easier to just add yet another discord server to the list.
Does it have to be a new discovery to qualify as “science”?
That’s a very neat idea, to be honest. I hadn’t thought of that!
Unfortunately this doesn’t work in Portugal. Most sales people don’t have any sort of training in the products they sell and they are heavily pressured into selling services rather than products. Your budget is 200 euros? They’re going to try to suggest you a 100 euros product and then try to get you to buy extended warranty and/or insurance.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely start asking there!
The mechanical keyboard topic was just an example. Because I’m kinda into mechanical keyboards, I can instantly spot the obviously bad recommendations. If the topic was something like microphones or washing machines, I’d be toast.
I mean… If Proton had no way of knowing your recovery email, it would be pretty pointless to set one up. If they do have a way of knowing it, they are bound by swiss law to give it up. No company is above the law, they have always been very transparent on that matter.
I don’t know how you read my comment and concluded that I approve racism or homofobia. It’s these kind of comments that push people away.
Vegan and non vegans are are at the opposite extremes. One only eats meat, the other never eats meat. You can’t insult people into your way. No one wants to have a conversation with you when you just randomly accuse them of homofobia. In your future attempt try going easier and with baby steps. People are more likely to stop eating meat if they take it one step at a time. This ridiculous expectation that someone must change their lifestyle over night or they’re racists… This isn’t the way, statistically speaking. But alas, this is a pointless discussion because you already know this and just want to fight with a stranger on the internet. Have a nice day.
This is not how you get people to join your ideas, this is how you push them away further.
That would be the nice and fair thing to do… However people are often happy with just a pat in the back so that’s what they get.
I worked on one of the largest Portuguese tech companies, it was kinda dependent on the business area. In the telcos department I barely had to do any overtime, it was only for emergencies. My colleagues in the banking department, however, wouldn’t ever see the light of day. They arrived before sunrise and left long after sunfall. Projects were submitted at a loss to in the hope of netting future projects. Developers were supposed to work overtime to compensate this… If you refused to work overtime your carreer would have end at that company.
I have never met anyone in real life that doesn’t address you the way you ask them to. My language, however, does not have gender neutral pronouns so the “did you just assume X gender” question is kinda annoying.
This is honestly pretty genius.
Just use proton VPN, the free tier should be enough.
It still works and is my daily driver! On both mobile and desktop!
I think it’s extremely important to support Google alternatives and I will continue to do so. Firefox still has pain points and recognizing them is also important.
Firefox extensions can’t mess with Firefox tabs. Sure you have extensions such as tree style tabs but they don’t really change the tab bar, they add side-panel with your tabs in a tree style format. This means you end up with a tab bar and a tab panel, which is a bit clunky. There are ways to hide the tab bar by messing with the userChrome file but that’s not user friendly at all.
I don’t have any particular setup that is too outrageous or different from anyone else. I just use Firefox, whatever is the most recent version in the arch repository. Ocasionally I open the browser and I don’t have any pinned tabs, I don’t know why. It’s not a frequent event or something tied to anything I can think off, it just appears to be random.

You misunderstood the sign. You can’t smoke the dog, the dog can do whatever the hell it wants. Smoking cigar is allowed, smoking barefeet dogs not allowed.
