Always Brother always
Always Brother always
the rent is too fucking high
Give me the money that you saved
Bloodborne is not an active IP, so even though it would be an easy port, would easily make its money back and would earn them a ton of goodwill, it would not further engagement with the playstation™ brand and as such they don’t actually want people to play it.
Isn’t there always an infinite ammo crate somewhere around when you are supposed to fight those things?
growing up is realizing that half life 2 isn’t really a particularly well-designed game, especially when compared to the original. having infinite ammo crates alone is basically giving up as far as game design is concerned
Overall, I much prefer the scope and scale of Expansions like SotE for RPGs, they last long enough to tell a proper story and actually expand upon the base game in a meaningful and lasting way. Think Far Harbor vs Automatron if you’ve played Fallout 4.
I was going to write something similiar to this. Shadow of the Erdtree actually feels like something you can sink your teeth into, whereas Ringed City can easily be beaten within two evenings. Just like two extra areas to add to the rest of the game, whereas SotE could easily be its own game. It kind of has to be, since it is in its exploration that Elden Ring really shines and that just wouldn’t work if you didn’t have the physical space of the gameworld to actually get lost in. The DLC definitely has its problems, like I can definitely see people dislike the bosses, the scadutree blessings and I’m personally just not a big fan of how it interacts/doesn’t interact with the main game, but besides that it’s basically a better, more compact version of the main game. It somehow managed to surprise me just as much as the maingame with just how much better and more surprising it ended up being than I would have expected, cannot wait for whatever they make next.
Good (because they barely qualify as “IPs”): Demon Souls PS3 Bloodborne
Bad (because it’s a pathetic shitty half-assed attempt to turn another companies game into an IP): Demon Souls “Remake”
Who the fuck cares (IP Hell): Everything else Sony makes
It’s such a fucking travesty that Sony won’t port Bloodborne to PC, it would outsell every single other port they’ve done so far on day one and have made a profit that same day, but since it’s not an ongoing IP that furthers investment in the Playstation™ brand they’ll just let one of the best games of all times die a sad death on a dying platform.
Not really? The gameplay loop stays the same, you just get a steady stream of new items that trivialize it as you go along. Terrible game, don’t believe the hype.
I’ve heard that a lot of the issues of TAA and upscaling aren’t as obvious when you render them out at 4k and also probably when you sit farther away from the screen, so if you game on an “old” PC monitor at close distance you are just not who these solutions are made for.
smoking weed also makes you instantly better at making music or at least it makes it seem like it until you listen to your music sober
Man I just really don’t want to sit alone in my room these days. Shit sucks and all the stuff that I usually do for fun have just given me basically zero enjoyment these last two weeks. Shit sucks.
