the world is overpopulated and everyone who wants to have children should require a license to do so (and it should cost a lot - like, a mid-tier job’s annual salary).
maybe it’s just the ones in my area. or they chose not to upgrade? i dunno
in that vein, I find it odd that some businesses that could really use self checkout aisles dont have them - like Target - they’re always understaffed and there’s always long lines. like, just install some self checkout machines already, jeez.
i see it as a philosophical question really: is a digital copy equal to the original? I postulate that it isnt - a copy is a different object, it resides on a different computer, and occupies space on that computer’s storage media.
so, if you’re making a copy, it’s not really “piracy” because the copy you made isnt the original. the original has value (imagined or otherwise)
I have not - I’ll give it a look. thanks!
not everyone has the ability to drive 50+ miles to get to the le creuset outlet store
why? it’s super convenient. I do all of my grocery shopping via Amazon Fresh. cheaper than a brick & mortar store
smoking. growing up in the 80s, everyone was smoking - in bars, restaurants, airplanes, even hospitals.
everyone I knew, their parents smoked tobacco or chewed tobacco. I started smoking myself, around 16 or so, as did all of my friends & even people I didn’t associate with. it was just part of the culture - and yes, I was aware at the time that it was a dangerous activity, but kids are stupid.
and then around 15 years ago or so everyone stopped or switched to vaping. now I really only see homeless people smoking. it’s quite the culture shift.
can’t you call into the voicemail system from an outside line, log into it, and listen to the messages?
only ever really see ads when I’m at work. all the things are blocked at home & on phone.
what proof do they actually have it occurred though? 12 years is a long time - I dont think I have any electronics that are 12 years old, let alone digital media
eh, just pirate the game. if it’s not available anywhere then it probably wasn’t worth having in the first place.
eh, it’s reddit so who cares? dying platform is dying
