The complaints are correct: Source is Russian media, the recording can’t be verified, it’s just as likely the whole thing is a hoax as it’s not. I’d add… Clinton isn’t a candidate, it doesn’t matter what she may have asked for or not. But as this is coming from a major US news source (who needs to do better!) Multiple reports on this, and frankly, if it had been some rando site and not Newsweek, I’d have pulled it by now.
