Initially it was deliberately locked down since I really didnt want bot comments on here at all. Since it doesnt appear like federating takes much storage, we should probably add more instances to our list but Im a little concerned about trolling. Most of the Lemmy community is very left leaning and i dont know how they feel about xmr 😅

I don’t understand why the left would be opposed to XMR? I say try it and then tighten restrictions only as-needed.
I meant the tankies lemmy is known for :P I’ll set federation to public and monitor it for a while.

Yeah we had an allow list for a few very small instances. House is running on the defaults which looks like this.
