Fun fact certain pasta dishes use the pasta water as an ingredient. Cacio e pepe for example!
A note on brewing potions: You only need the herbs the first time you brew any particular potion, after you’ve brewed it once it will get restocked automatically when you meditate.
Brandy? Awesome! The Boy Is Mine (1998) is a certified classic!
We can’t blame chatgpt for the change in headline writing over the last few years, though.
I know facts about the sun from They Might Be Giants!
Ya I like it too
Id say they’ll be pretty safe out of the fridge, but if you keep them in the fridge they might stay firmer longer. Like more bite. They might go mushy in the cupboard.
I learned that the oxygen around the earth is about as thick as a coat of paint on a pool ball, relatively.
I’m not sure how accurate that is.
Bahahahaha!
That movie is such a gem, must be due a rewatch!
Lettering and background colour combo on the last pic could be better
It worked out ok for Ryan Gosling in Bladerunner 2049. But then he was a robot, too.
I know this isn’t the point at all, but it must suck to be the chef in charge of that kitchen right now. Like you’ve already made a mistake that’s killed a doctor and now it’s become massive international news…Yikes!
You’re getting downvotes, but I for one applaud your manic pedantry!
I guess the difference for me is you don’t really watch Fight Club for the spectacle of the fight scenes, like you would in The Matrix or Die Hard. Yeah it’s got fighting in it but the action isn’t really the point of the movie, it’s about the growth of the fight club and relationship between the 3 main characters.
Fight Club and Blade Runner I wouldn’t really consider as action movies at all. You’d may as well put the Princess Bride in there if you’re playing that fast and loose with the genre.
The Raid definitely deserves a place. Id put Death Proof in there too, because I don’t think it’s all that well known.
Like everyone else Journey was the first thing that popped into my mind.
Id give a shout-out to Death Stranding, too. The game is far from perfect but it’s basically a hiking simulator which I find soothing. You also carry things so you could say it’s uplifting in the literal sense haha!
