Yeah, and what bothers me the most is that she was fine with that information. She took that news just fine. So I really don’t know what her problem is.
venting about family stuff
My mom keeps misgendering me. Keeps referring to me as her son, yadayadayada. It’s starting to really piss me off. It’s been almost two months since I came out to her and she still acts like it didn’t happen. She lives 1.5 hours away and she usually visits about once a month. But she’s cancelled the last 2 times she was supposed to come visit.
I’ve tried to bring things up to her over the phone a few times since I came out to her, but she changed the subject pretty quick. I’m just starting to get really frustrated about all of this. She’s supposed to visit next weekend but I have fairly low hopes that she’ll actually show.
I need to make friends I can send outfits too.
I finally got my non-game playing husband to play stardew valley with me. I got it all setup and we can play couch co-op splitscreen with controllers and it’s so wholesome and fun.

So I ordered a new shirt and I absolutely love it. At first I was worried about it because it’s tight and usually I would be mortified at the idea of wearing tight fitting clothes. But then I decided to try it as part of an outfit and it turns out that I looooove it. It’s also a kind of shirt that I would have never worn. It’s a woman’s (duh) “muscle tee” that shows off a fair bit of side boob. It says "Born to dilly dally, forced to pick up the pace ". I tried it out with one of my favorite hippie skirts, and I think it looks so cute as an outfit.
I just got a letter in the mail informing me that the amazing informed consent clinic that is entirely queer owned and ran is going to close in a few months. I’m pretty upset about it. The letter said they would help my find a new Dr so I’ll talk to them about it when I have my next appointment.

I get syringes from Amazon. It’s pretty hard to get syringes over the counter in my state as well, but I can get them from Amazon without issue. They’re listed as being “for animal use only” or something like that.

It’s Friday so after work I’m going to take a girlshower and condition my girl hair and then paint my girl nails. I don’t have to boy it up until Monday morning.
I get a lot of drive time at work and I usually spend the time listening to audiobooks or singing. The last few weeks/months I’ve been doing a few hours of voice training a week. The lesson videos are helpful for showing me what I need to work on, but I have found it substantially more helpful to just sing and work on it that way. I think I’m really starting to get close too.
If you haven’t done it yet, set up some of your accounts to use your name. I recently got brave enough to set up my lunch apps (taco bell, mcds, chipotle, ect) so when I go pick up my order, I get to use my name. I also set up some online shopping accounts to use it too. So now any emails I get from them come to my name. It’s such an incredible feeling to hear or see your name.
Hopefully she gets with the program soon.
