Sorry If It’s blurry, I took this pic on an old phone of mine about 5 years ago.
Are these from Russia? There’s a russian dude on youtube that does avgn style video about bootleg carts.
Well for the ones I collected, I’m pretty sure they aren’t. I bought them in these Chinese stores and plazas they have here. Not so sure about my cousin’s carts.
Also for the Russian YT-er, you’re talking about Kinemania right? I watched his stuff a few years ago.
I think that’s him, I forget his name, I just remember him drinking and playing old nes carts, but that’s cool they’re Chinese!
Also here’s how my bootleg console looks like too lol. It also has a bootleg Winodws 95/98 built in and shows when you don’t have a cartridge:
Wow that’s so neat, love the old looking pseudo PC look.
Me too!
Shame the keyboard and mouse that It came with don’t work anymore (my cousins broke It when they were kids). So I’ll see what I can do on that part.
Omg that is so cool
You even get a BASIC interpreter???
This is just better than the original console wtf
Not only that. THIS THING HAS A PRINTING PORT ON THE BACK AND YOU CAN WRITE AND PRINT DOCUMENTS ON IT. I love this console lol.
Sorry for the double comment, but the keyboard connector might be the same as on the Terminator 2 Famiclone. I’ve seen some controllers for that model with a weird proprietary connector. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminator_2_(console)
Seems so yeah. I also know that bootleg NES here was either called “Terminator” or just “Sega” here in the Balkans.
Damn, I had no idea some of these PC-looking Famiclones could print. Too bad the keyboard seems to be a proprietary connector (or it could be one that’s shared with other Famiclones).
aw man my bootleg famicom was never this cool :((
Sheesh!
The carts in Russia were also from China and they also ended up in other Eastern European countries like Estonia with…lax copyright laws.
I’ve had similar (but way less cooler as stated) bootleg famicoms. back in the day most of these were from taiwan if i remember correctly.
